Amity and Billy Marcial come from very different backgrounds. Their lives have come together to generate a team that can take on any challenge the world tosses at them! From hiking to the top of the Rocky Mountains to exploring expansive urban environments of the East Coast. Living Rad is at the forefront of all their adventuring! We have now lived in 9 states, and look forward to the chance for more! It’s been 3 years on the road, and we’re just getting started!
Amity Marcial, DPT
Amity Marcial was born and raised in Missouri. She attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO and had a clinical that landed her in Whitefish, MT. Following graduation from PT school, she swiftly moved back to MT to begin her career and adventures in the mountains. Amity has embraced all of the activities that the mountains have to offer. When she isn’t working as a physical therapist, she is hiking mountains, trail running, floating rivers, camping and skiing.
Amity has thrived as a Travel Physical Therapist. She continues to challenge herself in new treatment setting, working with different softwares and familiarizing hersleft with an every changing work environment. She is always looking forward to exploring the country and finding new adventures along the way. She is also anticipating the new challenges at each new location she works at. It’s impressive how well she handles changing her job location and setting every 3 to 6 months.
What does “Live Rad” mean to Amity? It means that you are doing activities that make your feel most alive. Whether it is summiting a mountain or being with a patient as they take their first steps after an injury. Doing activities that bring you joy and that might also make you a little scared, mean that you are living RAD!
Billy Marcial, aka The Badness
Billy Marcial is native to the mountains of the Northern Rockies. Born in Crested Butte, Colorado he then moved to Whitefish, Montana. Growing up in the mountains gave him the ability to connect with the mountains on many levels. Skiing, hiking, hunting, fly fishing and camping are some of the loves he has for the mountains. If you can’t find him at work you won’t be able to find him, because he is deep into the woods adventuring. This love for going hard and living life to its fullest is why he has
become known as the Badness!!!
Billy works as a remote salesman for a coffee company in New York City called, Caffè Aronne. His work flexibility has allowed for him to work where ever we are. From the beach, to the mountains and all the way in Mexico, he is able to make it happen! His flexiblity with work is key to Living Rad!
What does Live Rad mean to Billy? It is a lifestyle. A means of connecting with the natural world. It means to support your community and share the stoke and excitement you have for you passions with those around you!
